A Star Wars Episode IV Publicity still of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, I gave it a new background to get the right aspect ratio, some cleaning & enhancements due to the nearly 40yr old age before finishing of with several effects including glow & vignette.

Rather flatteringly several websites have been using this enhancement/customization/restoration for their Star Wars 7 news specifically Carrie Fisher's involvement. It has created a lot of interested & I have received some very nice feed back.

I am glad you like it, 50/50 customization & enhancement. I wanted good quality Star Wars wallpapers I could not find them so I made them.

I love it, but is there any way you could make a better, less obtrusive watermark?

the water mark is designed to be hidden by the task bar when used as a wallpaper. I used just to have signatures but after people started erasing them & posting my walls as their own I decided that a semi transparent full width mark was the only way to defeat them so no I cannot remove the watermark.

The problem there is that I use small taskbars my friend, so they end up being obtrusive in the sense that half of it still shows up.

Sorry...English fail. Could you please consider making a less obtrusive watermark - I'd appreciate it if you did.

She was so gorgeous all of us kids (under 12 back in 1977) had a crush on her. I wish she had taken better care of herself, I think she's doing that now.

Yeah, you're a few more years older than I am. My class mates and I would try to get any newspaper articles on any of them, no shortage of that. Then, one day, someone from class brought in an article and it was about Mark Hamill being in a terrible auto incident. We (kids) were genuinely shocked and dismayed. This might have been around late 1977.

I live in the UK we had to wait several months for Star Wars after it was released before it got to the uk, the 70's the bad old day only 4 TV channels no, no net & we had to wait 6 months for the movies to get across the Atlantic. Memories.
