I am currently trialling a piece of Software (Photozoom Pro 5.08) reputedly it offers superior performance when enlarging images eliminating pixelation & jpeg artefacts. This wallpaper is a test to see how effective it is; I took the same base image as the original Princess Leia II wallpaper & up-scaled with photozoom before adding the new background, enhancing the colour & a touch of vignette. So far I am very impressed the enlarged result was very clean & clear & impressively sharp; Photozoom was so effective I did not need to need to glow & skin smoothing giving visibly superior finished wallpaper. Below I have linked to the 1st version for you to compare the results.
I have to wonder how's she's gonna handle being Leia in Ep VII. Age has not been kind to her. If they're smart (and Hollywood usually isn't), they'll have her character, Solo, and Luke being in an advisor/mentor role (like Yoda was in the Original Trilogy) and focus more on the new characters and their adventures. Crystal Skull should've been a passing the torch story instead of a story of an old character not acting his age. X-/ Let's hope they don't jump the shark...again. -_-'
Age may have not been kind to her but she has been given a personal trainer, dietician I expect the Carrie Fisher that begins filming will; be leaner healthier one, factor in make up & CGI I expect we will see a real Cougar on screen. As for the Story line their will be no Spielberg input & Lucas will only be an advisor, As for Leia, Luke & Han I expect it will be a mentoring passing on the Torch scenario, after all they plan 3 movies.
I don't know. The thing is that I prefer the first picture, because I think the contrast is too high on the new one, if you look at the costume she wears. However I do think that her face on the first picture looks too 'photoshopped' as it looks almost plastic, while here it looks better.
Well first version the face was blotch so I had to use skin smoothing & glow to compensate, as for the gown there is really not very much difference between the two; You can only enhance what is there especially with a near 40 year old pre digital imaged converted later. Taken as a whole I do prefer the 2nd version so far this new piece of software does seem to be living up to it's hype.
