Another picture from the October Glamour UK spread this time I was after a 1940's feel. The donor image being already B+W was part way there once I added a totally new background I added the touch of sepia some, tone mapping also some noise before adding a touch of tunnel lighting effect.

this is how I edited it myself, except the expansion of the bg, I'll upload it for you to see

I did two tints on it, slightly more yellow sepia tone and one more reddish tone; I really think the BW bg would of looked much better, and I can give you the BW where I took out the huge highlights off her face, then you can edit it.

Personally I do not think the highlights were bad, I did moderate them in this piece wee bit as Paintshop pro has a highlight brightness tool. But if cover the highlight it also removes Emma's Freckles which I quite like.

I do like your one, it is quite a bit softer than the original & it is more B+W than my version; That is the great thing about DA everyone has there own tastes & slant providing almost infinite variety no matter the subject matter.

well I posted the BW one and not the tinted one as I have quite a few ones done hehehe, I couldn't not left it without digital noise removal, not much though. It was the best photo of all released but now I have hires scans to edit and I'll send you. What happens when I start editing: [IMG][link]
